Sagar et al. have proposed a cut-off of 0.6 au for distinguishing between "slow" and "fast" momenta in atoms and monatomic ions.23 They report fast topological features in A2n(p) that are more pronounced than the slow ones, for d-block and p-block metals, but not for nonmetals. Furthermore, in previous work on naphthalene and azulene,18 where volumes of up to 512 au3 were examined (with proportionately larger grid spacing), no additional regions of laminar flow were found beyond the limits of the currently computed grids. For these reasons, as well as "chemical intuition", we have focused on the slow electron dynamics in the organic systems below.
