Nanoparticles Made by Other Methods

Nanoparticles also may be produced by a variety of other methods. These include polyglutaraldehyde nanoparticles produced by polycondensation techniques [216-220], carbohydrate nanoparticles made directly from starch [221] or from polyacryl dextran or polyacryl starch [222-226], alginate nanoparticles [227, 228], chitosan nanoparticles made by electrostatic interaction and complexing methods [229231], nanoparticles consisting of poly(ethylene imine)-fatty acid complexes [232], and nanoparticles formed by self-aggregation of cholesterol-pullulan copolymers [233, 234]. This list, however, is not complete.
